I would like to bring it to notice of all CAs and CSs of this country that Government of India is openly looting public. The government is supposed to tax us to run its expense of services and not to run like a business house to keep creating reserves and surpluses for its own unplanned expenditures. See that in fy2014-15 Ministry of Corporate Affairs earned a revenue of 1655.81 Crore and made an expendire of just 179.58 crore out pf which only 16.39 was planned expenditure. This is hefty 1476.23 crore money generation in just one year. The money earned from e-stamp collection from filing annual returns is in the tune of 118 crore. If this is properly spent on MCA portal itself most problems of filing will go away.
The problem is that we become happy when government earns money. When government earns money it should reduce tax burden. No one comes to roads when service tax is increased.
Every year government brings a deficit budget and now one questions the balance sheet of government. Some political ho-halla and silly media comments come and we stop just there.
The poor in this country is still devoid of basics. Even a simple two meal diet is not available t every one. Jobs for youth is a balooning issue. Even the youth doesn't stand in front of the parliament asking for details.
Will someone come forward to stop this loot by the kings we create in every elections.
